Hey, everyone! We're taking a week off from narrative to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a belated Happy Hanukkah and Solstice, a solemn Festivus and a radical Kwanzaa as well as a Happy New Year for those of you trapped, like us, under Augustus' iron fisted calendar. We'll be back on Monday, January 2nd with a new strip and, no doubt, a few extra pounds to work off from all those collards and mashed taters. We're Howling at the Gates!

Introductions are always so awkward.

"Hello, Mrs. So-and-So, this is Dr. Such-and-Such"  and so on and so forth...

Well, here's what you need to know about us. Howling at the Gates is a new webcomic created by Shayna Pond and Rob Vollmar. In it there will be mad science, bad puns, welding torches, ferrets and the occasional python boot. And art. Delicious, creamy, art.

We would very much appreciate it if you would follow this webcomic and share it with your friends. You don't even have to like the people you share it with that much. Acquaintances are fine. Hell, give it to your frenemies. We can't be picky.

We have a twitter account (@howlinggates) where you can receive updates or just plug your e-mail address into the e-mail address widget over the on the right side of the screen. We'll be updating daily for the first week and then weekly until we make enough cheddar to quit our jobs and do this full time. We have this projected on the "business plan" to happen right around 2025. So far, we are right on schedule!
